Recognized for his remix of the title track from Rang De Basanti (2006), originally composed by A.R. Rahman and later featured on BBC Radio One UK's Bobby Friction's compilation Friction 2 by Sony BMG, DJ Anoop, based in Bangalore, has spent over 32 years creating sounds that combine global genres into eclectic mixes.
Anoop’s style spans a variety of genres, including ambient, minimal techno, progressive tech tribal house, breaks, dubstep, drum and bass, and Israeli and Scandinavian psychedelic trance.
Known for his ability to get the crowd moving, he creates an atmosphere where people can't resist dancing. His remixes have become popular at clubs and private events worldwide. Anoop has also been featured in Rolling Stone India for his contributions to the Indian music scene.
